Ordering the territory between the path of ancestors and contemporary perspective. Case Muisca indigenous community of Bosa, Bogota - Colombia
Main Article Content
The values and trends contained in the worldview of indigenous peoples are not similar to the current instruments of land use in place. The temporal and spatial scales are different, as well as the goals of development, and an appropriate meeting point between the two approaches has not been reached. Our aim is to encourage pondering and consideration upon the basis that should lead us to a common and harmonious development, which takes into account ancestral and contemporary tendencies. To reach our goal we compared the two perspectives, identifying internal processes and specific attributes so we could lay out a foundation to reformulate instruments of land use, specifically for the Muisca indigenous community in Bogotá, Colombia. It must be emphasized that the road ahead is a long one and its transit demands a change in the reasoning against the “comfortable life” of the average citizen.
