In the reflections about Geographic Education, it is a concern the limited educational impact in addressing the indiscriminate use of land and the problems arising from the organization of space. By focusing attention on the classroom, it is revealed the life of the nineteenth-century teaching geography in which every day school practice is focused in informative contents, detached from the immediate world and the understanding of the present age. Methodologically, we conducted a literature review used for the design of a structured approach to address the current related to changes in daily teaching practices at school level. It is conclude that Geographic Education should explain current community situations, reduce resistance to innovative facilitating a new way of teaching in agreement with the needs of society in the new millennium.
