War as a strategy of control and domination, as well as a mechanism of resistance against oppression, is, on this occasion, the common denominator of the free-theme articles that make up this latest issue of the journal Historia y Espacio. Therefore, from various perspectives and in different temporal and spatial contexts, this phenomenon that has marked the course of humanity is addressed.
