Abstract

This essay discusses the generation military of Simón Bolívar, a social group characterized by having adopted the uniform as an element of identification such as a factor of cohesion at a time when the historical development of the time meant for this group, a deep transformation in its structures and its objectives. These reforms were implemented to turn the Army of America in the representation of royal authority in the New World. This article shows the fundamental aspects of these transformations and his economic, political and social implications.
