Sistematización de la terminología académica de la Universidad del Valle

Abstract

This article introduces the results of a terminology research project on the academic and administrive procedures which was carried out at the University of Valle, The main purpose of the project, Systematization of Academic Terminology in the University of Valle was to compile and systematize the terminology dealing with the academic field of higher education, including translations into English and French, in order to create a database with the software Traduterm and an electronic glossary that can be consulted through the web page of our university and through the Colombian terminology network, Colterm (see http://terminologia.univalle.edu.co). We also made a dictionary with definitions and a trilingual glossary.
