Many times we have asked ourselves about the role of women in kitchens when we try to answer about our history, the power relationships in which we are immersed or when thinking about the link of women with the domestic space. This article, which starts from these questions, turns around and focuses on peasant men and their chores in the kitchens. Through their practices, their narratives and their life experiences, explores how this male presence occurs within peasant kitchens. Also questions certain imaginations about care work linked exclusively to women and brings the male figure closer to the performance of these tasks.
