Archaeology of the means: the “panela” breaker device
Technology design archaeology of the means entrepreneurship.

This research collects the concepts related to the devices that came up from the Colombian manufacture, in which are articulated the entrepreneurship, experience, technique, and technological knowledge in order to be considered as “technology-based design”. The case study and the archaeology of the means are used to approach an artifact that appeared in the 70’s. This study shows that this invention ended up in a frustrating case without any success in the local market, obstructed by the red tae and by the legal vulnerability.
