The article presents some reflections related to the practice of Parkour in the urban context of Cali, from an interpretative perspective, it gives account of the tensions of some social values such as: discipline - freedom, routine - improvisation, risk - control; caused in the paradigm shift and passage from modernity to postmodernity and reflected in the body of practitioners. For this, an ethnographic approach was made from the participant observation of the constituent elements of Parkour, complementing with field notes, interviews, consultation of official virtual pages of the groups and photographs of the practice. At the end, it is suggested that Parkour promotes docile bodies, develops a technique that allows efficient urban displacements supported by the body's hexis, which leads to a habitus and wear that makes sense to the tracers, because the body is transformed into a vehicle and anchoring mechanism of optimal experiences.
