In this work I reconstruct the argumentative structure of the coercionist associationism defended by Michael Blake, which consists of two premises, one normative and the other factual. I argue that both premises can be rejected indirectly (in the case of the factual premise) or directly (in the case of normative premise). The conclusion is that the coercionist associationism does not prove the existence of a normative discontinuity between the domestic sphere and the global sphere.
