This article presents some of the partial results of the research project “Practices of rights restitution and cultural re-significations among Afro-descendent and indigenous organizations in displacement in Bogotá”, which has been conducted since 2013 by members of the research group“ Contemporary socio-political processes” of the Social Work Program at Fundación Universitaria Monserrate. The article focuses on the description of the practices implemented within organizations of Afro-descendant and indigenous communities in the process of restoration of rights in the city of Bogotá. Finally, it identifies some problems of the organizational processes of the communities under study.
