ESTUDIO SOBRE LAS ECOFORMAS CORALINAS DEL GENERO Pocillopora EN LA ENSENADA DE UTRIA PACIFICO COLOMBIANO

Abstract

Using numerical taxonomy, the different ecomorphs of Pocillopora damicornis (linaeus, 1758) and P. capitaux (Vorril, 1864) were idontificated upon four coral areas of the Utrla Nature National Park. They are related growth forms with envoromenta) conditions finding that water turbidity, sedimon tation and exposuro to weva action, have big influence upon coral forms.
