Open access and self-archiving policy
Open Access
The journal subscribes to the open access movement and the principles of the Budapest Declaration of 2002, with its subsequent updates (BOAI10, BOAI15, BOAI20: https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/), which aims to make refereed scientific knowledge accessible, at no cost to users and readers, through the internet, and to benefit the development of science, knowledge and the solution of problems facing humanity, in its different societies and cultures.
Self-Archiving Policy
Authors of articles in Lenguaje are permitted to self-archive the published version of the article (the Version of Record, which includes copy and stylistic edits, online and print formatting, citation and other linking, deposit in abstracting and indexing services, and the addition of bibliographic and other material). Self-archiving is often referred to as Green Open Access.
The published version may be placed on:
- The author's personal website
- The author's company/institutional repository or archive
- Not for profit subject-based repositories such as PubMed Central
