This article describes and analyzes the different types of violence that occurred among prisoners of Medium Security Penitentiary of the Buga city during 2013. The investigation showed that in Buga’s prison occur multiple violent events that by force of recurrence have ended naturalized as a form of intramural relationship, hindering re socialization of persons deprived of the liberty and improving their criminal profile. This phenomenon is given by the confluence of the legal order and the alternate order reflecting through confrontation, defacement of ego identity, acculturation, personal degradation and multiple acts of discrimination and segregation.
